About Break of Day Bakery
Break of Day Bakery is a faith-rooted cottage bakery in Pflugerville, Texas, born from resilience, family, and a lifelong love of baking. After 15 years in Human Resources, I experienced an unexpected job loss while my husband and I, both disabled veterans, navigated his layoff in January 2026. Baking began when I was pregnant with our daughter and grew from a creative outlet into a source of comfort and healing as I navigated PTSD. In this season of change, I felt called to step out in faith and turn my love of baking into a purpose-driven business.
Originally from Upstate New York, I have been married to my husband for 13 years, and together for 16. We are raising our 10-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son in Texas, along with our two dogs, Layla and Willow. We believe baking is more than making desserts—it is a way to bring comfort, bring people together, and share care with our community.

Hand-rolled red velvet bagels with a lightly sweet cocoa flavor. Try Morning Glory on its own, or The Overflow, stuffed with chocolate for a rich, gooey center.
Peach Cobbler & Seasonal Treats
Comforting, nostalgic desserts made to share. Fresh-baked peach cobbler comes in individual servings, multi-serving sets, and a family-sized 9 x 13 pan by advance order, alongside seasonal specials like cinnamon rolls.
